I don't know why your own people be acting up. But am telling you that lady at the cashier. She has zero customer service the attitude stinks her personality stinks. All I ask for was for her to double the bags. She replied I don't need two bags. Then she proceed to toss the bag at me. I'll never support this place again. That cashier lady is just too rude.

Called and placed my order got here 20mins later standing in line and I asked was my order ready and asked me my name and what I had. Gave her the information and she told me no and then told me to wait took the person order behind me and made his food. I sat outside to eat and upon tasting the oxtails it was not tender or seasoned. The whole tray is very bland. Where is the Caribbean taste. Also there is a lot of fat on the oxtails which tells me it’s not cleaned correctly. This is what I have left and honestly I just want my money back.

I’ve been a frequent customer here and have spent a significant amount of money over time supporting this business. I recently found out about the rewards program, which had never been mentioned to me during any of my visits. When I asked about applying past purchases, I was told I needed to have presented the card each time, which I understand. However, what was disappointing was the lack of effort to acknowledge my loyalty or even take a moment to review the receipts I had saved from multiple visits. I was even given a rewards card with only one stamp, despite having many past qualifying purchases. I could have easily marked the card myself, but I chose to be honest and instead brought my receipts to ask about it. That request was dismissed without any real consideration. I spoke directly with the owner, and the interaction still felt dismissive rather than appreciative. There was no real attempt to meet me halfway or offer a thoughtful resolution. This wasn’t about the rewards card. They lost me over how they made me feel. As someone who genuinely tries to support local businesses, that part was the most disappointing. The food is good, but customer experience matters too.

Was in the area today, getting an eye exam and noticed that they had a Jamaican restaurant in the strip mall stopped and got two Jamaican beef patties smiled, and too spicy lady behind the counter was very nice. Will definitely back. Went back in today, September 15 and spoke to Nadine, who was extremely helpful and pleasant. I decided to go with carrot juice, which was awesome and a slice of rum cake. If I’m in the area again I will definitely stop in for a meal.

A small place with a dedicated community. When we arrived we were the only customers but that quickly changed once Church let out and the regulars showed up. It’s clear these people eat here often as there were big smiles and warm hellos. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were happy to highlight their mostly vegetarian/pescatarian (see vegetarian explanation below) friendly foods. The patties were just as I had hoped and the fried dough dumplings were superb. We really enjoyed the side dishes (I don’t know the name of the yellow dish but it is made with Salt Fish so not fully vegetarian but good nonetheless). My husband had the mildly spicy Jerk Chicken patty and really enjoyed it. I had the vegetable patty and it was delicious. We shared the sides and thoroughly enjoyed them. This place is designed to mostly accommodate take out but they do have a couple of tables for dining in which is what we did. Definitely recommend this place to any local and travelers passing through. 🤗
